From pups to pigeons, cats, horses, donkeys and even elephants, animals have played an important role in the military, and a Syosset soirée will celebrate these often unsung heroes.
The Hearts and Heroes-Paws of War soiree will be an elegant affair. While they enjoy the festivities the guests will discover how the organization reunites personnel with dogs and cats they have cared for overseas, and also provides supports such as a service dog program, housing and a mobile vet clinic.
The plans for the occasion include a selection of light bites and appetizers, and specialty cocktails and mocktails will be flowing. An open bar service will be on hand for the guests to enjoy, and to add a festive touch, the Sweet Tea Band will be providing live musical entertainment. Paris Ray will supply a special performance, and everyone can try their luck at winning a prize in the high end raffles and even split draw.
