Proposals are being sought by the town of Bedford to sublease the historic Metro North Bedford Hills Train Station building and develop a mixed-use venture, retail café, or similar commercial establishment.
Business owners and other organizations in nearby Mt. Kisco may be interested in such space and submitting a proposal.
The goal of this transformation is to create an active and anchored space that will serve residents, visitors, and commuters and spark local economic development. Incorporation of interior space for local community groups, flexible space for micro-tenants, and a component of live music will also be considered by the town.
The ideal tenant will operate at the train station during morning, afternoon, and evening hours and will have the opportunity to obtain parking for employees off-site in a commuter lot owned by the town.
Community events can be held in the leasable part of the train station by reservation and are permitted by the town. Those submitting proposals need to indicate if their use of the property would exclude or include this current arrangement.
Flyer printing can effectively deliver detailed information about proposals in a visually appealing, concise format. Flyers can engage audiences, promote initiatives, and drive interest in such projects.
Those with financially sound, experienced, and qualified proposals are to be submitted to the town by 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 15.Get a Free Quote for Flyers
