The newly relocated cardiology center of Optum Health is now open in Mt. Kisco.
This facility offers streamlined patient care and has updated its technology and reorganized its referral systems.
The new cardiology center is on South Bedford Road and has increased office space and state-of-the-art technology. It has doubled the number of examination rooms from its previous location, while also adding space for doctors from different specialties to work together.
The facility boasts a nuclear camera, also known as a gamma camera, that measures several feet long and goes across the length of the imaging room. These nuclear cameras have an advantage to other imaging methods that show how organs look in that they can help determine how organs function.
Optum’s Chair of Cardiology, Dr. A. Garvey Rene, said that this development will enable patients to have most of their cardiac testing in one location. He added that the examination rooms in the new center are pristine, ergonomic, and designed with doctor-patient connection in mind. He noted that the desks can be adjusted in height so that eye contact is always maintained with a patient while taking notes. Dr. Rene said that this is a step in transitioning technology into the 21st century.
Such new facilities can benefit from brochure printing to highlight their updated services and technological advancements.
