The Katonah Museum will be opening a new exhibit next month called “Art in Bloom,” with a weekend of lectures, workshops, and family programs that might attract residents of nearby Mt. Kisco.
Featured in the exhibit are local floral designers and artists from the Katonah Museum Artists’ Association. Artwork selected for the exhibit collectively explores the symbiotic relationship between living ephemeral Forms and visual art. Brochure printing is one way to provide more details on such exhibits and their accompanying programs.
There will be an opening reception and cocktail party from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm on Thursday, June 11. The following day will see a catered luncheon where attendees can cast their vote for the floral design that inspires them the most, as well as a roundtable discussion about art and beauty in the natural world. This will be from noon to 2:00 pm on Friday, June 12. An “Art in Bloom” Happy Hour will be in the Marilyn M. Simpson Sculpture Garden later that day from 5:00 to 6:00 pm. Family art and nature workshops, and two workshops just for adults, will take place on Saturday, June 13.
The museum itself will be open to the public from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, June 12, and from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14.Get a Free Quote for Forms
