New burger eatery opens in Mt. Kisco

Mt. Kisco is now home to a new burger eatery chain, Shake Shack.

Shake Shack is a chain that sells hamburgers and milk shakes and is based in New York City. The new location is on North Bedford Road and will be the sixth one in the Westchester area and the 72nd one in the state.

On the day that it opened, tote Bags were given to the first group of patrons and $1.00 was donated for each sandwich sold on that day to Feeding Westchester in support of what they do to prevent hunger in Westchester County. This location will feature the favorites from the menu of the chain and will include hand-spun shakes and crinkle cut fries.

Such new eateries in an area can benefit from flyer printing to promote themselves and their menu.

Part of the Union Square Hospitality Group, Shake Shack was founded by Danny Meyer, a restaurateur. Meyer launched his first Union Square Cafe at age 27 and later expanded his portfolio with acclaimed restaurants such as The Modern and Gramercy Tavern.

Shake Shack itself started as a basic food truck in 2001 in Madison Square Park in New York City. It grew steadily over the years and became a company that was publicly traded in 2015.

The hours of the Shake Shack in Mt. Kisco will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. seven days a week.
