Special dining day to support Mt. Kisco camp

An initiative called Dining to Donate will be held by the Applebee’s of Mt. Kisco to benefit Camp Iroquois of Mt. Kisco.

For one day next week, 10% of the bills of all patrons will be given to help the camp. In order to participate, customers need to present a flyer, most likely created by a local Print company, advertising the initiative to their server in order for the donation to qualify. The flyer can also be found online at the Mount Kisco website.

The Village and Town of Mt. Kisco and the Mt. Kisco Recreation Commission operate Camp Iroquois. It is a municipal outdoor day camp for children entering kindergarten through grade six in the fall, often featuring bands, puppet shows, and magic displays. Camps run from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm, with a variety of time periods available. Registration for the camp began on Monday, February 2, and places can be booked by calling (914)666-3059.

Dining to Donate is one of the Applebee’s Community Connections programs that helps the less fortunate and supports institutions that improve the overall quality of life for people in the community. Each year, the Apple American Group, which owns and operates Applebee’s restaurants, donates approximately $1 million to help its communities.

Dining to Donate is taking place next Tuesday, February 10 at Applebee’s on N. Bedford Road.
