Seasonal events to come to Mt. Kisco area

Some holiday festivities will be taking place in the Mt. Kisco area in the coming weeks.

Local Print shops often get involved in promoting such events with Flyers and Posters displayed throughout a region.

Breakfast with Santa will take place at the New Castle Community Center. A light breakfast will be served and people are encouraged to bring their cameras to take a picture with Santa. The cost is $10 for all attendees and registration is required. There will also be a collection of unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots. This will be held on Saturday, December 17 from 9:00 to 11:00 am.

Also, Chappaqua will be hosting a grand Chanukah celebration. There will be a lighting of the giant menorah with many distinguished guests. A program for children will begin at 4:15 pm in the Chappaqua Community Center where children will decorate their own Chanukah doughnut and make their crafts for the holiday.

The outdoor program will begin at 5:30 pm in front of the Chappaqua Community Center. There will Chanukah doughnuts and hot chocolate for everyone, as well as festive Chanukah music, an LED juggling show, and the lighting of the menorah.

This program is sponsored by Chabad of ACR along with the Chappaqua Chamber of Commerce. There will also be a collection of gently used winter coats for both children and adults. This event will be held on Tuesday, December 20.
