Shake Shack is planning to open a new store next year in Mt. Kisco.
This would be the sixth location of Shake Shack in Westchester County and will be in what was once a Dunkin’ Donuts and a restaurant on N. Bedford Road. Banner printing can be used at such sites to inform residents of the opening of such new eateries.
The signature items of Shake Shack are burgers, chicken sandwiches, and milkshakes. Over the holiday season, it also serves a Chocolate Yule Log Shake, an Apple Cider Donut Dhake, and a Christmas Cookie Shake.
The Architectural Review Board of Mt. Kisco approved the design of the building in September. The architect for the owner of the building, Andrew Whitelaw, said that this will create a structure that was very outdated. He said the next step will be to approve the sign for the building by the Review Board.
Whitelaw said that his firm will work on a new roof for the building, do exterior renovations, and replace sidewalks, among other items. The fit and finish will be done by Shake Shack.
A Shake Shack is scheduled to open in the Yonkers Ridge Hill shopping center next year. The other Shake Shack locations in the county are in Port Chester, White Plains, Hartsdale, and Nanuet.
Whitelaw said that this location could open sometime over the summer.
