Pet oxygen masks donated to Mt. Kisco fire department

The Fire Department of Mt. Kisco recently received four sets of oxygen mask kits from Canine Company, a company that provides pet services in-home.

Phil Ziegler of Canine Company presented the kits to the department and demonstrated their use with the help of Matt Hollis, a firefighter of Mutual Engine and Hose Company and Grizz, their canine friend.

Hollis had specifically made the request for the masks, commenting how important pets are to a family, and thanking Canine Company for its donation to help the department take better care of all members of a family.

Ziegler added that the goal of his company is to enable families to keep their pets happy, healthy, and safe, doing so with their various services and products and their charitable efforts.

All four companies in the department will have these oxygen masks to enable them to respond to the needs of pets in of house fires and other emergencies. Free ‘Pets Inside’ decals are also being provided by Canine Company to those who have pets, so firefighters are aware of the existence of animals in a home. Logo Design can be used in such situations to make such notifications stand out for rescuers.

The masks fit the shape of animals and are available in three sizes to accommodate small pets such as rabbits, right up to larger breeds of dogs.
