HomeGoods recently opened a new store in Mt. Kisco close to the Metro-North station in town. Among the store’s products are rugs, furniture, dining and kitchen items, and decorative accessories.
The store is close to 25,000 square feet in size which has been renovated into a state-of-the-art retail building. The property is owned by The Kempner Corporation of White Plains. There is a new store front and façade, roof, and parking lot. Gina Picinich, mayor of Mt. Kisco, commented that so far, the store has been very busy and that the owners of the property did an excellent job in renovating the building.
Party City and Annie Sez were formerly housed in the building. Party Supply has moved close to Modell’s Sporting Goods in the downtown.
Flyer printing is one way to get the word out about such an opening and what customers can expect to find in stores like this one.
President of HomeGoods, John Ricciuti, expressed his happiness in being able to provide Mt. Kisco with its own HomeGoods store. The store advertises that its prices are typically 20 to 60 percent lower than those found at full-price retailers.
This store is the 73rd such store in the New York City area with other stores in the Lower Hudson Valley in Nanuet, Yonkers, New Rochelle, and Mahopac, among others.
