The mixed-use Wrights Court development across the street from the Il Forno Trattoria restaurant in Somers is currently being developed by the restaurant’s owners, Rick and Susan DiNardo.
There will be seven apartments, along with retail and office space, so that those in nearby Mt. Kisco might consider renting space in this new location.
Renovations will be carried out to the exterior and interior of the restaurant as of this week. A bar 22 feet in length will be added and the entire front of the restaurant will be opened up, says Rick DiNardo. Renovations are expected to be completed by October 3.
The menu will also be updated with more health conscious and gluten free options.
The development project has a completion date of December so that tenants can move in at the beginning of next year. Of the seven apartments, which will be one- and two-bedroom, three will be affordable housing.
DiNardo added that they have lived in Somers for 20 years, and plan to remain there for many years to come. He loves the community and believes in reinvesting in the town.
Poster printing companies can be hired to create Posters that can be displayed in key locations in the town so people will be aware of the renovations and developments in their area.
