Mt. Kisco train station to become home to new eatery
Once approval has been granted by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Joe Bueti will be opening an Italian restaurant in the Mt. Kisco train station.
Bueti owns another such restaurant in New Canaan, but this one will feature more pizza dishes and entrees, and will have a wood-fired oven for cooking the pizza. The food will be more modern in style and will use less heavy red sauce, but will still be made from fresh ingredients.
Bueti, who lives in Mt. Kisco, commented about the location and historic building in which the restaurant is based. The downtown, he added, needs a great Italian restaurant and the building will be the right environment for it. He is excited about opening another restaurant in Mt. Kisco.
There will also be an option for commuters to order food on their phones while they are on the train.
Bueti is the owner of several other establishments, including the Village Social in Rye and Mt. Kisco, and will be opening another restaurant at the train station in Pleasantville. He manages all aspects of the operation and is able to visit all his properties every day.
Restaurateurs often benefit from the assistance of a local printing company in advertising new eateries by means of banners and other printed materials.
