New tenants have been given leases for the stations in Tarrytown, Peeksill, Hastings-on-Hudson, Purdy’s, and Mt. Kisco by the MTA and Metro-North Railroad.
Consequently, there will be improvements to the stations, as well as new shopping and dining options so that the stations are more welcoming and vibrant for both residents and commuters. In addition to the revenue from the leases, there will be savings for the railroad itself, as the tenants will be responsible for the upkeep and cleaning of the stations.
In the Mt. Kisco station, Locali Kitchen & Bar recently opened. The space is 2,800 square feet in size and includes an outdoor plaza next to the building, and an office loft. The restaurant has a bar for seating and sofa or table seats. Flyer printing can be used for openings such as this one to make residents aware of new offerings and updates.
Joe Bueti co-owns and operates Locali, which has an extensive menu of pasta, salads, main dishes prepared in the northern Italian style, and specialty pizza. Bueti also runs the Locali Pizza & Bar restaurant in New Canaan, Connecticut, the Village Social Kitchen & Bar in Mt. Kisco, and a wood-fired pizza truck that can be found in several towns in the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut area.
Upgrades to the station included new heating and air-conditioning systems, new fixtures, and new bathrooms.
