Mt. Kisco loving feeling expands to lower Westchester
A sister store of the company behind Café of Love and Ladle of Love in Mt. Kisco is planning a special opening of its new store.
Leslie Lampert, owner of the new store and founder of the restaurant and catering group, Love Hospitality, based in Mt. Kisco, described the new Ladle of Love Bronxville as a “gourmet take-out” shop. Its menu offerings will include salads, soups, sandwiches, and other comfort food, with ingredients sourced from the local area and driven by the season.
Lampert said she had looked at many other locations in Southern Westchester County, but found the Bronxville location to be ideal. It is much smaller than its siblings in Mt. Kisco, as she likes these types of spaces where she can maximize the square footage, and she hopes to expand the idea to other parts of the county.
Mt. Kisco is where the food will be prepared so that the same quality and consistency can be maintained across all stores.
Lambert said she waited to open the store tomorrow, Valentine's Day, in keeping with the romantic theme of the store.
Lambert might benefit from the assistance of a local printing company to promote the uniqueness of the store and its concept with special Posters and Flyers advertising the free soup kisses that will be available on opening day.
