Movie theater in Mt. Kisco finally reopens

The Mt. Kisco Movie Theater is now open after being shut for the past two years.

The theater is under new ownership with AB International Group Corp., also known as ABC Cinemas, as the new operators of the theater. Stephen Foisy, general manager of the theater, said that many people have been coming to the theater to catch up on their favorite films. Such venues often turn to flyer printing to create listings and schedules for their films so people can plan their outings.

Work is still ongoing in the theater. It now has five screens and there are plans to place a monitor in the library so that old movies can be seen. There will also be chairs and tables so visitors can relax while waiting for a film.

There is popcorn, nachos, fountain drinks, and candy at the concession stand, with chicken fingers and other snacks planned for the future. Also under consideration for the theater is offering a small café on the roof with adult beverages and upscale treats.

Gina Picinich, mayor of Mt. Kisco, expressed her thanks to ABC Cinemas for its investment and belief in the village. She said that the community is excited about the venue reopening and is looking forward to the many movies to come in the iconic theater.
