The Hudson Chorale, based out of Pleasantville, a short distance from Mt. Kisco, will be the beneficiary of a large tag sale coming up in the middle of the month.
This will not be the typical yard sale of used clothing, toys, and household items but will have a wide selection of donated items that will include collectibles, antique furniture, CDs and DVDs, and decorative art, among others. The hours are from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, but those who want to come between 8:00 am and 9:00 am to get the best selections will be charged $10.
The Hudson Chorale is the largest not-for-profit community chorus in Westchester County. The group is composed of 90 men and women, ranging in age from college students to retirees, with different backgrounds and levels of musical training. Michael Conley is the artistic director who leads the chorus in a wide selection of choral literature.
The group’s upcoming concert will be on Saturday, May 9 at Irvington Middle/High School, as the second of a three-part series featuring American composers who found their inspiration in American writers. The concert will begin at 7:30 pm, with a pre-concert talk at 6:45 pm.
The tag sale will be on May 15 and 16 at 107 Bedford Road in Pleasantville. The use of flyer printing to create colorful and attractive Flyers is one way that the group can get the word out about both the upcoming concert and tag sale.Get a Free Quote for Flyers
