Senator Terrance Murphy recently honored 14 women at his Women of Distinction ceremony for 2018 at Pace University. Suzanne Grant, a resident of Mt. Kisco, was one of the women recognized.
The Women of Distinction honor recognizes those women who have accomplished much in the Hudson Valley by contributing to education, charitable organizations, and businesses in some way to make their communities better places in which to live.
Murphy said that he looks forward to this ceremony every year to recognize the accomplishments of these women whose generous acts of service often are not noticed by others in the community. The positive impact made by these women in the 40th Senate district is made known by this ceremony. Their work has enabled communities in the district to grow and prosper.
Suzanne Grant volunteers her time in the Bedford Central School District, helping to expand educational opportunities for students. She serves on the Student Achievement Committee and has been on the Board of Education for the district for two terms. Her other service includes being a member of the Mt. Kisco Elementary School Association and the Mt. Kisco Conservation Advisory Committee.
Various kinds of printing services can be used to create printed materials to inform the community of such honors and what they mean for the recipient and the community.
