Bakery to come to Mt. Kisco area

A new bakery, LMNOP Bakery, will be coming to Katonah. Residents of Mt. Kisco may want to try out this exciting new addition to town.

Originally from a small town in norther Michigan and now a resident of Katonah, Anne Mayhew started baking breads from her home in 2017 and quickly gained a loyal following, with online orders from local businesses in Mt. Kisco as well as from New York City, Bedford, and New Canaan. Mayhew will now be establishing LMNOP Bakery in a space that is two stories high and was once occupied by a coffee shop and a bookstore. It is an ideal location across the street from the train station.

Mayhew said that the eatery will be a place where people can meet, wait for a train, or bring their children. The menu will consist of cookies, baked goods, and croissants, with pies for the fall and Panettone for the holidays. There will also be a wide variety of breads among which will be olive walnut loaf, red fife table loaf, and Bedford sourdough. Flyer printing companies can be used to highlight such items and create weekly Flyers to promote any special treats.

Mayhew added it may be sometime before she can open the bakery, depending on when appliances arrive, and permits are secured. She is hoping to open in time for the holidays.
