A cooking class is coming to Huntington next month, offering interested parties who adhere to a vegan diet the chance to learn some new skills and techniques for making brunch foods.
The Plant-Based Brunch Class, which is being taught by Christina of Dr. Dawn’s Plant-based Kitchen, is opening enrollment to vegan diners who want to enjoy flavor-filled brunches from the comfort of home. The class is open to interested parties of all experience levels, and beginners are welcome.
Students who sign up will learn how to make plant-based brunch dishes under the guidance of Chef Christina at the in-person workshop. The meals that are demonstrated are designed to promote an anti-inflammatory diet, allowing diners to enjoy food that doubles as medicine. The class is also dairy and gluten-free, ensuring a safe dining experience for all. Print shops are fantastic resources for producing and sharing lists of ingredients and recipes at such events.
Chef Christina will shed light on the benefits of an anti-inflammatory diet while eating foods that are rich in nutrients. The skills taught in the workshop will help each participant grow their skills and confidence in the kitchen.
The cooking class will be held at Dr. Dawn’s Plant-Based Kitchen in Huntington. It is scheduled to start at 10:30 AM on Sunday, January 18th. Enrollment is open online for $55 per person.
