A creative workshop will be providing Huntington residents with a new learning opportunity this April, with participants learning how to create a Turkish mosaic lamp.
The Prestige Adult Center is offering a mosaic workshop to interested parties in Huntington, with the experience being suitable for participants of all skill and experience levels. Enrollees will be immersed in the world of mosaics and led by experienced instructors throughout the laid-back workshop. The experience will provide Turkish tea to sip on while learning and constructing the lamps.
Guests will have 12 different colors of hand-cut glass to work with as they design their lamps, with beads also available to add another layer of uniqueness. The class instructor will be on hand to provide guidance and step-by-step help, making it a suitable experience for students with no experience. Brochure printing offers a convenient and cost-effective resource for instructors of such courses for providing tips and techniques to enrollees.
It is an ideal session for local creatives who want to explore a new art form with friends or family. All students will get to take their finished lamps home at the session’s conclusion.
The Prestige Adult Center is planning to host the mosaic on Saturday, April 4th. Students can sign up for the 11:30 AM or 2:30 PM session. Registration starts at $107.48 per person online.
