A colorful, creative workshop is coming up near Huntington later this summer, giving area residents a pathway towards discovering a new passion.
The Seasons in Bloom: Summer Arrangements, which is presented by Studio Kash, has announced the date for a summer workshop where students can gain hands-on experience working with and arranging local flowers. The workshop draws inspiration from the changing seasons, with a special emphasis on the summer season and the flowers for which New York is known during the warmer months.
Students will get to make unique arrangements by exploring the different colors and textures of the seasonal flowers and learning how to make them work well together. The workshop is an excellent fit for beginners and experienced floral arrangers who want to add to their knowledge. Organizers can use brochure printing to promote events like this and provide detailed explanations on what students can expect.
The experience is led by Curious Flowers, with this local business bringing the seasonal flowers for enrollees to learn about and work with. All materials are included in the price of enrollment, and students can take their completed arrangements home.
Students will meet at 19 Scudder Avenue in nearby Northport. The workshop is set for Sunday, August 23 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM. Tickets are $80 per person online.
