The Long Island Networking Showcase will be happening next month, with entrepreneurs and organizations attending from throughout the city, including the towns of Huntington, Melville, and Brookhaven.
Organized by Interchange Business Organization, June’s networking event will offer attendees the opportunity to make new business connections, while enjoying food and entertainment. The event will feature music, a photobooth, a T-Mobile truck, scheduled activities, food and beverage tastings, and health product samples. Companies onsite will include LI Bourbon and Cigar, Tiger Lyfe, Little Porky’s Marinade, Moonshine, 21 for Fun, and O'Oldthymer.
Founders and business professionals from many notable companies will be attending the showcase, including Connexx, Interchange Business Organization, NeXGen, Moxxie Network, The Unicorn Network, Executive Partners Group, Moverz, and Round Table Networking. The Long Island Association of Small Businesses will also be on site.
Business networking allows small business owners and professionals to collaborate with one another to create new, mutually beneficial opportunities. Often, handshake agreements are aided by the exchange of Business Cards in a face-to-face meeting environment, that allows for active listening. New small business owners may also gain confidence in their product or service, through the understanding of the experiences of more seasoned, like-minded individuals.
The Long Island Networking Showcase will be held on Friday, June 18 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, at 25 Melville Park Road in Melville. Tickets are available on the Eventbrite website for $20 per person.
