Mother Road tour to arrive in Huntington

Grace Potter will be performing in Huntington this January as part of her Mother Road tour, and will feature Brittney Spencer as a special guest.

In the summer of 2021, Potter embarked on an independent journey across the country, starting from Topanga Canyon. She stayed in motels on the roadside, jotting down song ideas nightly on Postcards and Notepads. After two more U.S. trips and navigating with hand-drawn maps, she landed in Nashville for recording sessions, birthing her most unguarded songs yet.

Mother Road, following her Grammy-nominated Daylight, heralds a new career phase for the artist. With over 10 tracks, it blends blues, soul, rock, and country. Collaborating with musicians like Benmont Tench and Nick Bockrath, Potter crafted this album that was produced by Eric Valentine, her husband.

Potter's vocals and introspective songwriting amplify the album's depth, a testament to life's intricacies. She expands her creative horizons alongside her music, venturing into filmmaking and multimedia artistry.

The cost of tickets to the event will be between $45 and $231. These tickets can be purchased through the online Ticketmaster listing.
