Huntington wrestling school to hold camp

The Savage Wrestling Academy in Huntington will be organizing a camp in August to help students improve their techniques.

The T3CHNIQUE CAMP is a program for wrestlers interested in improving their Forms in the neutral, top, and bottom positions. Each session of the class will include technical instruction, sparring, and live wrestling. The instructor of the course will be Justin Accordino, founder of the Savage Wrestling Academy. Accordino has experience as a wrestling coach at Chaminade High School, the Ascend Wrestling Club, and the New York National Team.

The Savage Wrestling Academy is a facility where students from elementary school to high school can train with experienced coaches and become more competitive wrestlers. Accordino is the head coach and is assisted by Joe Calderone, PJ Gillespie, and Matt Loew. The academy offers several camps during the year, including the Tough On Top and Rock Bottom training programs. Students can become a gold member with the facility to take part in three team training sessions per week and semi-private lessons.

The wrestling camp will be held from Monday, August 15th to Wednesday, August 17th. Each session at the academy will last from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. The cost to attend the course is $150 per student. Training facilities such as this may use flyer printing to promote their athletic programs at local schools and community centers.
