Infinite Play will be organizing a workshop in May at the outdoor spaces near Loco Motion in Huntington.
Adults looking for a unique form of exercise and self-expression can attend a two-day program developed by Infinite Play. The workshop offers guests several group activities that utilize tools such as coordination, imagination, and problem-solving. Those of all athletic levels are allowed to participate in the playing session. A few of the activities include tug-of-war, dancing, drawing with chalk, and rolling miniature balls. Each session will have a 90-minute lunch break for attendees.
The playful workshop is facilitated by Kyle Fincham, the creator of Infinite Play. Fincham initially worked as a ski instructor and went to the University of California, Los Angeles to study theater. He also earned a blue belt in Brazilian jiujitsu and has experience as a stand-up comedian. Fincham even hosts a weekly podcast called Behind the Movement, where he interacts with fellow movement enthusiasts and instructors such as Aaron Cantor, Meri Burgess, and Marie Janicek.
The playing session will be held on Saturday, May 21 and Sunday, May 22 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Workshop participants must pay $120, though those who register before May 1 can pay $100 to join instead. Instructors who coordinate outdoor experiences similar to this may use poster printing to inform locals about future sessions.
