Huntington training center to give security course

The Suffolk Location of the Able Center for Training in Huntington will be holding an annual training course for security guards in February.

The 8 Hour Annual In-Service Training Course for Security Guards is a program where guards can learn about any important updates on their responsibilities on the job. The class will teach students about the role of a security guard, handling emergencies, ethics, and their legal powers. A test will be held after the lesson, and all participants must pass the test with a 70% score or higher to complete the class. The course is required to be taken by guards annually.

The Able Center for Training is a facility that offers training workshops for civilians and professionals. The school's instructors include Ed Lezcano, Brian Gallo, and Brian Higgins. Lezcano is a retired police officer with more than 25 years of experience, and Gallo is a former detective who worked with the NYPD for 22 years. Higgins is a retired lieutenant. Teachers like this who offer training courses to the public may use flyer printing to advertise their classes.
