The Long Island Swarm Spring Tryouts 2021 are set to begin in Huntington next month.
Suitable for boys and girls who are in grades 3 to 12, the basketball try-out event serves as preparation for the 10-week spring season., which will involve five games throughout the weekends.
Two hour-long sessions for students grades 3 to 8, and grades 9 to 12 will be included in the event. Both players from the previous year and new player alike must register for the try-outs to take part in the spring season. Online pre-registration is available at $20 per student.
Mandatory health and safety rules will be in place for all attendees and players throughout the duration of the Huntington event. Players must wear facemasks when off the field and avoid sharing equipment or water with other players. Spectators must maintain six feet of space from each other at all times and wear facemasks. Brochure printing is a commonly chosen way for event hosts to create printouts that showcase essential rules and recommendations for all involved participants.
The Spring Tryouts are scheduled to occur at the Next Level Sports Center on Sunday, February 14. from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm for children grades three to eight and from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm for students from grades 9 to 12.
