This year is a big year for the Huntington Manor Fire Department, which will be celebrating its 111th year as an organization this week, and plans to make a party out of it.
The anniversary fair will take place during the evenings of five straight days. On the second day there will be a parade to celebrate the firemen who are working for the department, as well as those who served in the past. The parade will start at 7:30 pm. Every day after the first day will also feature fireworks displays starting at 9:30 pm each night.
While the fair is open, guests will have the opportunity to compete in games of skill and fortune. They can also enjoy family friendly activities like the amusement rides that will be provided. Naturally, there will be a great deal of food, and there will be live musical entertainment as well.
Promoters for this event may want to reach out to printing companies to create advertising materials for the event. Posters and Flyers are a great way to get word out about the fair and draw in even more attendees.
The fair runs from Tuesday, July 15 until Saturday, July 19, taking place from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm every day except Saturday, when it runs from 5:00 pm until midnight. The area between Stimson Middle School and Peter Nelson Park has been closed down to accommodate the fair goers.
