The Huntington Historical Society is hosting a Heritage Crafts Fair that will feature the work of craftsmen from all around area.
Guests will be able to purchase unique pieces of jewelry, fabric products, pottery, and other craft items. Some of the craftspeople may also be performing demonstrations of their work. There will be refreshments available for those who want them.
Those in attendance will also be able to tour the Kissam House Museum, at which the festival is taking place. They can also purchase items at the museum's shop. The Kissam House features a costume collection put together by the Kissam family, as well as artifacts collected by the Huntington Historical Society.
The organization began as the Colonial Society in 1903 before becoming the Huntington Historical Society in 1911. It has preserved sites and traditions of historical importance in the Huntington area during that time.
Promoters for the event may turn to Print companies to create materials like Flyers or Posters that will potentially raise the level of attendance. The organizers might also want to have brochure printing companies create informational materials that they can share with guests to spread the word of the Society's work and goals.
