The Annual Geraldo Rivera Golf Classic is scheduled to take place close to Huntington next month.
The game will be returning for its 33rd year as a celebration of Life’s WORC’s fifth decade. Life’s WORC is a nonprofit organization that focuses on a variety of services and programs that help to support individuals with learning disabilities. The Geraldo Rivera Golf Classic helps the organization to continue funding its offered services.
For anyone from Huntington who wishes to participate in the event, registration options are available on the official Life’s WORC website. Single players can sign up to take part in the day’s games and obtain a dinner reservation for $650. Teams of four can register for the same perks at a rate of $2,500 per team. The Tournament Underwrite option allows large groups or organizations to register 26 dinner reservations and 16 players for $25,000. Poster printing is utilized by many hosts of in-person fundraisers to create large printouts that serve to notify the public as to when and where the event will take place.
Sponsorship options ranging from $1,000 to $15,000 are also available for those who wish to provide additional monetary support.
The event will be hosted on Monday, May 17 at the Old Westbury Golf and Country Club in Westbury from 10:30 am to 8:30 pm.
