Nikki Glaser is the current host of “You Up with Nikki Glaser,” the first daily live morning program developed by Comedy Central, and broadcast on Sirius XM.
Glaser began performing her stand-up routines when she was 18, writing her first jokes while she was a freshman in college. She related getting her start by observing her dorm mates studying in the cafeteria, and wondering what Sarah Silverman would think of them. She began writing jokes based on what she knew of stand-up comedy from watching her favorite comedians, because she was still developing her own perspective.
From that beginning, she has gone on to perform as a stand-up comic on Conan, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and two seasons of “Last Comic Standing,” a reality series. She had her own special, “Perfect,” in 2016 on Comedy Central, and in 2019, appeared on Netflix with her second effort, “Bangin'.” She has also appeared in the films “And Punching the Clown,” and “Trainwreck,” and on numerous television shows.
