Coming up this Saturday, July 14, the Dix Hills Fire Department in New York will host its yearly Firehouse Flea Market and Craft Sale. The event is located at 590 Deer Park Road in Dix Hills, a quarter mile south of Exit 51 on the Long Island Expressway. It is free to attend and will run from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. Parking is also free.
This event will take place both indoors and outdoors and will feature several vendors and crafters who will be selling unique and modern merchandise, much of it handcrafted. There will also be food vendors on site for those who develop an appetite shopping. There will be raffles to give away prizes to those in attendance, as well as other fun activities.
Printing businesses will probably need to Print promotional materials to draw people, both from Dix Hills and surrounding areas like Huntington, to the annual event. They may also need to create Flyers and other informational materials to draw vendors and crafters to the event. Booths are still open for the market as of today and anyone interested should visit Huntington’s Patch.com site.
Printers may also be called upon to create Banners for the vendors and craftspeople who are attending the event and will want to draw attention to themselves. These same vendors may also want their own informational Brochures and Flyers so that attendees at the flea market remember the vendors and crafters and can seek them out later if they liked their works.
