A Stephen Stills-themed music festival is planned for the Huntington area, and classic rock enthusiasts are encouraged to attend and sing along.
The Stop, Hey, What’s That Sound? music festival will start in a few weeks. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the top hits from Stills’ solo and band careers. The concert will feature songs from Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young, Buffalo Springfield, and more.
Guests can anticipate hearing some of their favorite tunes from the 1960s and 1970s at the concert. As an artist enshrined in the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame, Stills’ music has spanned the decades and transcends genres.
The event will feature several area artists performing covers. Top artists include Cole Fortier, Thomas Ryan, Pete Mancini, and Anna Corronna. Banner printing is a colorful and memorable way to welcome bands and artists onto the stage at such musical events.
Attendees are welcome to bring their own beer, though all beer must be in cans. Wine bottles are welcome, but glass containers are not allowed near the pool area. Guests can also bring food from home to ensure a comfortable listening experience.
The Bunker will host the music festival on Saturday, August 3, beginning at 2:00 PM and running until 10:00 PM. General admission tickets cost $28.50, and interested parties can reserve a place online.
