A crochet workshop and retreat is being organized near Huntington, offering a fun space where experienced crocheters can grow their skills.
The Intermediate Crochet-a-Bunny Workshop, led by Amanda of Creative Retreat, will open its doors next month to artists looking for a fun and memorable retreat. Amanda Farabaugh, the resident crocheter, will lead the event and provide feedback and instructions to participants to improve their skills and ensure a positive experience. She has over 35 years of crocheting experience and can assist with right- or left-hand crocheting.
The course is not recommended for beginners, as moderate experience and skill levels are required to crochet a bunny rabbit. Classes will be small to ensure a relaxed and intimate environment, helping participants embrace their creativity without judgment. Flyer printing can promote such events throughout the community as a cost-effective method of building visibility and awareness.
All materials will be included with the ticket price, and Amanda will bring a completed bunny as an example to follow. Guests will use acrylic yarn to create a bunny measuring 12 inches tall and 6 inches in diameter.
The creative crocheting session will be held at Nest on Main in Northport on Saturday, March 1. The event will run for four hours, from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Tickets can be reserved online for $62.67 per person.
