A speed dating event organized by the company 7 in Heaven Singles Events will happen in Bay Shore in June. It will take place at the Fire Island Vines winery.
During a speed dating event, a group of individuals meet at a designated location. The organizers hope to have an equal number of men and women. These individuals will then pair up with others. For a specified amount of time, each couple will converse. Once the time is up, each individual will move to a different partner. This will then continue for the length of the event.
The Fire Island Vines event will involve women aged 34-46 and men aged 36-48. Participants will meet with the partners they choose for seven minutes at a time. This will work out to 10 to 12 ‘mini-dates’ throughout the timeline of the event. In addition, the price of the event will include served appetizers and a free bar drink.
The event will take place on Saturday, June 11 at 17 E Main Street. The price of a ticket to the event will be $45. Anyone who brings a female friend can receive 50% off the ticket price. Also, anyone who does not find any matches can get a 50% discount off a future event.
