The Bay Shore area is well known for the fun it has on offer, and an area event will add even more excitement to its summer calendar.
The Town of Babylon will be rolling out the welcome mat for its annual Beach Blast, and it will be an event planned with all ages in mind. The event will provide activities at both Cedar Beach and Overlook Beach, and there will be lots to see and do.
Festivities will ramp up in the early afternoon with a variety of kids games and other active fun, and after this the bouncy castles and other bouncers will open to the younger guests. “Gold Dust Woman” will take to the stage at 6:00 pm, and after dusk, the crowd will be treated to the community's 31st annual fireworks show. Admission to the gatherings will be free for all ages, and the schedule for the occasion will run for eight hours. The fireworks may be viewed from both Overlook and Cedar Beaches.
