The West Babylon Chamber of Commerce is hosting an event that could make Halloween more fun than ever.
Lily Flanagan's in Babylon, a short distance from Bay Shore, will be the place to be in late October for an enjoyable evening that provides a chance for members of the community to get to know one another. The Chamber is hosting a Halloween Murder Mystery Dinner that includes not only an open bar and three-course dinner, but also a live play. The South Shore Theatre Experience will be performing the play.
The company was originally founded to offer workshops concentrating on children's theater, but now offers theater workshops for all ages, classes, and magic shows, as well as full performances by a professional company. The Experience performs classics from Off-Broadway and Broadway, as well as original works, many conceived by local writers. The actors are professionals, many of whom have Broadway experience. Past productions include “Jake's Women” by Neil Simon, and the classic “It's a Wonderful Life.”
There will be two events, and tickets are limited to 50 people per night, so interested parties should purchase theirs soon. The shows are October 23 and 24, at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $100 per person. Attendees are required to wear a mask, and health guidelines will be observed. Poster printing can be used to provide exciting advertising for events like this.
