Bay Shore residents are invited to attend the upcoming NY Bridal Updo Class: Demos and Hands-on. The interactive class will be taught by Renee Marie and will include four hours of learning to create updo hairstyles perfect for brides and bridal parties.
The class is promoted as a “look, learn and do” event as participants follow Renee through each step as they create all types of styles. Participants are encouraged to bring mannequins to practice with during the session, but they can simply watch and take notes if they prefer. New techniques for styling and cutting will be demonstrated using tips and tricks to make it easier for beginners to master.
The updo foundation is critical for a successful result and will be emphasized during the session. Products for use in the styling process will also be presented. The instructor’s goal is to achieve styles that look effortless and soft while maintaining a voluminous texture. After the styles are completed, Renee will demonstrate how to take photos of the new styles created so they can be referred to in the future.
Flyer printing is a viable method of promoting events of this type. The Flyers can be created in full color noting the highlights of an event, as well as the agenda, date, and time.
The bridal class will be held August 31 at Luxe Blowdry and Color Bar. Registration may be handled via the event website.
