Bay Shore venue to host summer celebration

Antiquing is a popular hobby in the Bay Shore area, and a local market may help those who love scoring a vintage find to do so.

The Sagtikos Manor Historical Society recently announced that it has scheduled a special activity for the venue, and it will be set up on the site’s Great Lawn. It will boast a curated list of more than 30 small businesses and other vendors, and both early bird and general admission tickets are on offer.

The shoppers will be able to browse through the vendor tables, and if they have any items they would like to have appraised, they can do so at the kiosk set up by Remember Yesteryears. A limit of three items has been set for this.

Along with the antiques, collectibles, and vintage items, the attendees can purchase plants for their home or garden. Tours of the manor house and garden will be available, and these offer a glimpse into the area's past.

An outdoor market can be a good fit for a summer fundraiser. Banner printing and other marketing services for such an occasion can be sourced from local printers.

The Antiques, Vintage and Collectibles Show will see the Great Lawn at Sagtikos Manor transformed into an outdoor shopping party on June 18th. The gates will open for general admission ticket holders at 10:00 am, and those who hold an early bird pass may arrive an hour head of the crowd.
