Sea glass is a treasure often found by beachcombers on the shores of Long Island, and an activity will transform a set of these colorful bits into a work of art.
Bay Shore’s Ditch Kitchen and Surf Bar will be the place to be for those who enjoy some light crafting later this month. Ticketholders will be able to choose the size of their project. All materials needed will be provided to participants, although they may bring some from home if they wish.
Crafters will be able to choose their sea glass from the supply provided, and additional design elements may be included as well. As the venue offers food and drinks, ticketholders will be able to purchase a bite to eat while they work.
All skill levels are welcome, and the group can get to know one another and make some new friends. Admission starts at $35.00.
Hands-on crafting classes can be a fun way to meet people, and they also teach new skills. A poster printing company will be happy to help get the word out, and will be able to offer a variety of materials to its customers.
Ditch Kitchen and Surf Bar has made plans to host this sea glass crafting class on Thursday, February 22. The start time for the session is 6:30 pm.
