A fashion show is often an event where designers show off expensive exotic styles, but one planned for Bay Shore will showcase outfits available in the local area.
The Rooftop Runway Fashion for a Cause fundraiser will be targeting cancer, with the funds raised to be donated to Women and Men Against Prostate Cancer and also Mondays at Racine Cancer Care. Tickets are $135.23, and each attendee will be treated to a sumptuous experience.
The runway show will feature models showcasing local boutique fashions, and many of these will be available for purchase. There will also be music and dancing, and there will be a variety of bites to explore. Craft cocktails will be poured, and the Italian prosecco truck is expected to garner a lot of attention from the guests. An art showcase and plenty of photo ops will round out the evening.

Rooftop Runway-Fashion for a Cause evening will be held on the rooftop terrace at 11 Maple Avenue in Bay Shore. The function is scheduled to start at 6:30 pm on Thursday, July 25. A rain date of the following Thursday, August 1, has been set.
