Bay Shore market to support local projects

The Bay Shore area is proud of its community of talented makers, and their creativity will be on full display during an upcoming crafters’ market.

The Amityville Kiwanis Club will be welcoming the public for its Craft and Antique Fair, which will add some extra excitement to the first days of fall. Pappas Memorial Pavilion, which can be found at Amityville Beach, will be the venue for the day, and a portion of the proceeds will support various community initiatives.

The function will be open to the public for six hours, which means there will be lots of time for some leisurely browsing. At least 90 vendors are expected to be on hand, and with antiques in the mix as well, it is expected to attract lots of people. Food can be purchased on site, and anyone with questions or who would like to learn more about serving as a vendor can contact AmityvilleKiwanisCraftFair@gmail.com.

A pop-up market brings businesses and the public together in a fun and festive environment. Vendors at these events often choose to take full advantage of the situation by offering shoppers special premiums such as promotional Pens and other small items printed with their Logo Design and contact details.

This opportunity to engage in some retail therapy while supporting service projects that benefit the community is on the way for September 16. The doors will open at 10:00 am, and it is expected to be a popular event.
