Peonies come in many Forms and varieties, and these popular perennials will be on full display during an activity that will be hosted in Bay Shore.
Registrants for The Peony Path will be treated to a private tour of the walled garden at Sagtikos Manor. It will offer a sneak peek into the site’s restoration efforts as well as its peony project, and there are two start times on the agenda.
The group will learn about the history of the site and its gardens, and peony growing tips will be shared that they can then use in their own beds and borders. They can view the outdoor artwork, including the peacock fountain. Reservations are strongly encouraged, and tickets for the outing start at $10 each. At the end of the tour, the participants will be able to purchase some peonies for their own home garden. Light refreshments will be served as well.
