A Bay Shore fundraiser will offer its guests the chance to take a step back in time to the 1940’s.
The annual Marty Lyons Foundation’s fundraising event will be back for its third year, and the proceeds from the celebration will be used to grant wishes to kids living with a life threatening or terminal illness. Tickets are priced at $150 each, and a variety of local businesses have chosen to sponsor the celebration.
During the gathering, the attendees will be treated to dinner and the opportunity to bid on the donated items in the auction. Raffles have been planned as well, and during the meal, the attendees will see, live and in person, how their help will make a difference. The guests will be able to enjoy the sumptuous atmosphere at the Bourne Mansion, and an open bar is on the agenda as well.
The schedule for the gala will open with a cocktail mixer, and its listing pointed out that an Amazon wish list has been created so the public can choose a gift in kind to donate to the auction or raffle draws.
