People of all ages may enjoy the magic of a live ballet performance, and a kid-friendly activity will give Bay Shore families a chance to experience one in person.
The Princess Tea Party will be a production of Ballet Long Island, and will take place in Ronkonkoma. It will be a fun way for youngsters to learn more about classical music and dance, and will be hosted by princesses in full regalia. There will be lots of photo ops.
Ticketholders will take in a live performance on the stage, after which the dancers will circulate through the crowd so kids and parents can meet them in person and take some fun photos. The guests will then be ushered into the tea room, which will be set up with light refreshments, including cookies and lemonade.
The proceeds from this activity will be used to financially help students with the company as well as its Master Teacher Fund. Backdrops and other decor for a special occasion can be prepared by a poster painting company that offers wide format Print services.
This afternoon with royalty will be on offer on Saturday, May 20, after which it will take a hiatus for the summer. It will make its return on Friday, October 14, with the venue for the occasion located at 1863 Pond Road.
