A fundraiser that will benefit those living with diabetes will soon be on offer in Bay Shore, and it may just put a smile on the faces of local ale lovers.
The Barton Center for Diabetes Education will be the recipient of the funds raised during the annual Cask Ales Festival, which will showcase libations brewed on Long Island. Cask ales will be the stars of the show, and these will all be donated by their respective breweries.
The attendees at the function will be treated to live music supplied by area musicians, and the venue, which will be The Brewers Collective in Bay Shore, has been provided free of charge so that as much of the monies raised as possible can be passed along to the cause. Both ales and wine will be poured, and food trucks from the local area will be rolling in as well. Having raised more than $10,000 last year, the planners are hoping to top that amount this time round.
A fundraiser or other activity where drinks will be served may benefit from the services of local Print shops. They can supply Drinkware printed with a function or group’s Logo Design, as well as full line of decor and customized Stationery.
The 2024 Cask Ales FUNdraiser will be showing some love to those living with diabetes on Sunday, January 21. Tickets may be reserved online or purchased at the door.
