Bay Shore area to help end arthritis

There are a variety of illnesses that fall under the arthritis umbrella, and a foundation that helps fund the search for a cure has a fundraiser in store for Bay Shore.

The Arthritis National Research Foundation has scheduled an evening of excitement, and it will combine even-split draws, raffles, and silent auctions into a single activity. It will be offered at 22 Grove Pl in Babylon, and there are different ticket types available, including one for those who would like to help but cannot attend in person.

The event will include more than 100 raffle draws as well as the chance to bid on the items in the auction. Door prizes will be presented, and the even-split draw will see the winner go home with a cash prize. Additional tickets may be purchased onsite. All attendees will be served unlimited sodas, water, and juice, but due to the sensitivities that often exist in those who have an autoimmune illness, food will not be served, although ticketholders are welcome to bring their own.

Many people may want to support a cause, and a fundraiser gives them the chance to do so in a fun environment. A poster printing company can prepare marketing materials as well as Letterheads that may be used for donor and sponsorship request letters.

This evening of excitement in support of a cure for arthritis will be taking place on Friday, February 28. Admission starts at $25 each.
