Long Island cocktail fans will be congregating at a Bay Shore area venue for an event that will celebrate everyone’s inner mixologist.
Attendees at the Island Spirit and Cocktail Festival will be greeted by a wide variety of libations, and a new larger venue has been chosen for this year. It is billed as being the area’s largest, and indeed only, convention focused on cocktails and spirits, and its agenda is filled with tastings and other activities.
Ticketholders will have the opportunity to sample a wide selection of spirits, some of which will serve as the base for a cocktail. There will be mixology competitions, and the Best Cocktail of the Year award will be presented. The crowd can cast their vote for their top entry, and when it is time for a bite to eat, there will be lots of options onsite to choose from. Its organizers anticipate that tickets for the festivities will sell out well in advance.
