This month, ‘Frozen’ fans can enjoy a ballet performance that may remind them of the popular Disney movie.
‘The Snow Queen’ is a fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen. The story was adapted into a ballet performance, and it is Andersen’s tale that also served as the inspiration behind the Disney movie ‘Frozen’. The family-friendly performance touches on themes like friendship and perseverance.
Located about five miles from Central Islip, the Ballet Center is a place at which aspiring dancers can advance their skills and work to become a professional. In addition, it is also an establishment where students can learn how to express themselves and foster their creativity. Along with ballet, the center offers jazz, hip hop, tap, and several other types of classes.
