The Islip Arts Council (IAC) presents Author Saturdays.
IAC is a non-profit arts organization that was created in 1974. Its mission is to promote and advocate for the varied disciplines of art by facilitating high-quality, culturally responsive programs in and around the Long Island community.
Author Saturdays is a free event where different authors from the Long Island Authors Group discuss their published Books and sign Copies. This Saturday will feature The Healing Power of Nature by John P. Cardone.
John Cardone is the founder of the Long Island Authors Group and CEO of Hospital Video Network Inc. He writes and produces interactive media programs and educational videos for healthcare professionals. For over 30 years, he has been writing about topics relating to illness, such as loss, stress, hope, and the will to live.
Those interested in attending can ask questions after the discussion and purchase Books after the presentation. Part proceeds from book sales will go towards the IAC.
